Network time\r\nservers are the authoritative timekeepers of the internet, ensuring that everyone has the right time. Apple’s time\r\nserver ( time.apple.com ) is the default time server for your Mac, but you can switch to another time server, such\r\nas one maintained by your employer or university.\r\nHere’s how to synchronize your Mac’s clock with a time server and optionally change the time server:\r\n1. From the Apple menu, select System Preferences.\r\n2. Click Date \u0026 Time.\r\n3. Click the Lock icon.\r\nhttps://www.macinstruct.com/tutorials/synchronize-your-macs-clock-with-a-time-server/\r\nPage 1 of 2\n\n4. Select the Set date and time automatically checkbox. If you’d like to use a custom network time server,\r\nenter the domain name of the time server. One stable option is pool.ntp.org .\r\nYou’ve successfully configured your Mac to automatically synchronize its clock with a time server.\r\nSubscribe to our email newsletter\r\nSign up and get Macinstruct's tutorials delivered to your inbox.
