"plain_text": "AtNow v1.1 - Alternative to AT utility of Windows\r\nArchived: 2026-04-05 17:37:02 UTC\r\n \r\nAtNow v1.1\r\nCopyright (c) 2002 - 2004 Nir Sofer\r\nDescription\r\nAtNow is a command-line utility that schedules programs and commands to run in the near future.\r\nBy default, the commands are executed within 70 seconds or less from the moment that you run the AtNow utility\r\nwith the desired command.\r\nSyntax\r\nAtNow [\\\\ComputerName] [Delay] [/interactive] \"command\" [Parameters]\r\nParameter Description\r\n\\\\ComputerName\r\nSpecifies a remote computer. If this parameter is omitted, the commands are executed on\r\nthe local computer\r\nDelay\r\nSpecifies when the command is to run, expressed as a number of seconds from the\r\ncurrent time. The default is 70 seconds. In most cases, you should not change this value\r\n(See the notice below)\r\nNotice: In most systems, there is a nasty bug in Microsoft Scheduler Service:\r\nWhen you schedule a command for a specific time, the seconds in the scheduled time are\r\nalways truncated. For example: if a command is scheduled to execute at 16:35:32, it'll\r\nactually be executed at 16:35:00.\r\nDue to this bug, the delay value must be greater than 60 seconds. Otherwise, the\r\ncommand might not be executed.\r\nYou should also be aware that if this bug exists on your system, the actual delay might be\r\ndifferent from the delay that you specify.\r\n/interactive\r\nIf this parameter is specified, the executed program can interact with the desktop of user\r\nwho is currently logged on. (Similar to /interactive parameter in AT command)\r\n\"command\"\r\nSpecifies the Windows NT command or program. If the command contains space\r\ncharacters, you must enclose the command with quotes.\r\nParameters Specifies the parameters of the program.\r\nhttp://www.nirsoft.net/utils/atnow.html\r\nPage 1 of 2\n\nExamples\r\nAtNow \\\\COMP1 /interactive \"c:\\winnt\\system32\\regedt32.exe\"\r\nAtNow \"c:\\program files\\cmds\\cmd2.cmd\"\r\nAtNow \"c:\\program files\\MySoft\\test1.exe\" /p /m\r\nAtNow \\\\192.168.0.5 /interactive \"calc.exe\"\r\nRemarks\r\nThis utility is designed for Windows NT/2000/XP. You cannot run it on Windows 95/98/ME.\r\nSchedule Service must be running on the target computer in order to execute a command or a program.\r\nYou must have administrative privilege on the target computer in order to execute commands.\r\nThis utility is similar to the Soon utility provided by Microsoft, but it has a few advantages over the\r\nMicrosoft's utility:\r\n1. The AtNow utility is a standalone program. It doesn't use the at.exe as Microsoft's Soon utility does.\r\n2. The AtNow utility doesn't require any installation process. In contrast, the Soon utility has\r\nredundant installation process.\r\n3. The Soon utility doesn't work properly if the time setting of the remote computer is different from\r\nthe time setting of the local computer. The AtNow utility always works properly, independently of\r\nthe local time settings.\r\nLicense\r\nThis utility is released as freeware. You can freely use and distribute it. If you distribute this utility, you must\r\ninclude all files in the distribution package including the readme.txt, without any modification !\r\nDisclaimer\r\nThe software is provided \"AS IS\" without any warranty, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to,\r\nthe implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
