That’s how the crooks obtained the card data. Basically,\nwhen you pay at a local shop whose POS terminal is infected, your card data is transferred\nright away to the criminals.\nHowever, having the card data is just half the battle; to steal money, they also needed to be\nable to clone cards, a process made more complicated by the chips and their multiple\nauthentications.\nThe Prilex group developed a whole infrastructure that lets its “customers” create cloned cards\n— which in theory shouldn’t be possible.\nInformation\nMalpedia Last change to this tool card: 17 February 2023\nDownload this tool card in JSON format\nAll groups using tool Prilex\nhttps://apt.etda.or.th/cgi-bin/listgroups.cgi?u=82a835f9-02b1-47fb-b2ec-5b6085226899\nPage 1 of 2\n\nChanged Name Country Observed\r\nUnknown groups\r\n  _[ Interesting malware not linked to an actor yet ]_  \r\n1 group listed (0 APT, 0 other, 1 unknown)\r\nSource: https://apt.etda.or.th/cgi-bin/listgroups.cgi?u=82a835f9-02b1-47fb-b2ec-5b6085226899\r\nhttps://apt.etda.or.th/cgi-bin/listgroups.cgi?u=82a835f9-02b1-47fb-b2ec-5b6085226899\r\nPage 2 of 2",
