The keylogger is capable of capturing keyboard strokes entered into the infected system.\r\nFor more information on the vulnerability, please refer to Microsoft Security Bulletin 2286198\r\n(http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/2286198.mspx).\r\nRemoval\r\nBased on the settings of your F-Secure security product, it will either move the file to the quarantine where it\r\ncannot spread or cause harm, or remove it.\r\nA False Positive is when a file is incorrectly detected as harmful, usually because its code or behavior resembles\r\nknown harmful programs. On execution, the\r\nexploit loads the downloader component (the actual file detected as Trojan-Downloader:W32/Chymine.A) from a\r\nshared folder shared over the Internet:\r\n\\205.209.171.[...]\\DlaT\\GdWbpvo.dll\r\nWhich in turn downloads an EXE file (detected as Trojan-Spy:W32/Chymine.A) from a remote site:\r\nhttp://205.209.171.[...]/bin.exe\r\nTo a temporary file. During execution, the malware creates a file on the system, where the downloaded bin.exe file\r\ndrops a DLL file, the actual keylogger component. In the sample we analyzed, the created file was:\r\n%windir%\\system32\\[5250].dll\r\nThe file name, in this instance [5250], may be a random number. This DLL component (and its file) is also\r\ndetected as Trojan-Spy:W32/Chymine.A.\r\nRegistry\r\nIn order to run, the keyloggger component makes changes to a number of registry keys and injects code into a\r\nnumber of processes.
